Outreach & Global Ministries (OGM)

What’s This All About???

Vision: To build relationships with all of God’s children and serve the local, national and international community through love, kindness, and acceptance.

Mission: The CWOW is a missional church that seeks to promote all forms of justice (social, economic, racial, environmental etc.) and equity on the local, national and international level. We believe in focusing on systemic issues, while serving and empowering God’s people. We not only invite members of the community in, but go out and serve, as we are not bound by the four walls of a building. We, the people, are the church! Ten percent of The CWOW’s tithes and offerings are placed directly into our local, national and international communities.

Who we serve: OGM serves the community, community members, and people of various ages, cultures, backgrounds, ethnicities, and economic statuses through prayer, fellowship, training, and tangible resources. We partner with non-profit organizations, educational institutions and individuals to foster wholeness and empower God’s children to live on purpose.

Tenets

We cheerfully give to God’s children and our communities.

2 Corinthians 9:7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully”

We seek to empower all of God’s children from all walks of life.

Romans 12:10-11 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord

We strive to meet the needs of our community members and believe no one should be without food, clothing, or shelter.

Matthew: 25: 35-36 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me

We spread God’s love through fellowship in our communities and throughout the world.

Hebrews 10:25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near

Who May Serve???

Age: 5+ (Younger children are welcome to serve with the direct supervision of a parent.) Church Participation: Visitors and regular attendees. When working with certain groups, or within certain institutions, church membership may be required. To ensure the integrity of our OGM, training will be required to participate in certain partnerships, outreach and global reach initiatives.
