Women’s Health & Wholeness

What’s This All About???

Vision:To aid in creating an atmosphere of mental, physical and spiritual healing; to provide stress relief and a release of toxins from the mind, body and soul that will contribute to inner peace, well-being and wholeness.

Mission: Through prayer, conversation and various activities, we’ll learn the tools needed to release, relax, and positively handle day-to-day life, while maintaining our joy, as we walk in wholeness and empower others to do the same.

Tenets

We are each other’s keepers: We foster a safe, loving, supportive community, Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

We do not remain in states of brokenness: We rebuild until our foundations are solid and cannot be destroyed. Matthew 7:24-25 Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

We pray for our enemies and those who have hurt us: We recognize that anger, bitterness and unforgiveness can poison the soul. So, we work to heal and forgive. Matthew 5:44-45 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

We release negativity and fear: Worry, anxiety and excessive reasoning are variations of fear that we release daily. Philippians 4:6-7 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.

We trust God no matter what the outwards signs may say: If Christ is in us, we have everything we need. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

We work in excellence, but also rest and spend quiet, quality time with God: We recognize the importance of renewing our minds, body and spirits and rest in God to be rejuvenated. Mark 6:30-31 The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught. Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

We speak life over ourselves and others: We know God’s plans for us are great, as we were created for great purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
